If you’ve been inserting a new row, then cutting and pasting every time you need to move a table row to another location, you’ve been taking the long way. Here’s our shortcut for moving table rows in Word documents:

  1. Select the row and press to move the entire row up one level.
  2. Continue pressing the shortcut key combination until the row is in the correct location.
