Don’t count out conditional formatting just because you’re using a PivotTable

PivotTables prove excellent tools for summarizing large volumes of data and presenting them in an easy-to-read and interpretable format. By adding conditional formatting to your PivotTables, you can force important analytical data to become more apparent with less strain. Best of all, the PivotTable still maintains your conditional formatting even when you change the table view, as shown in Figure A.
